Transformation of a static showcase website into a manageable platform through a MySQL database and a PHP form for adding new artworks.

OpenClassrooms project context :
After an initial refactoring assignment on The Artbox website, the gallery wanted to take things further by making its artwork catalog manageable through an admin system. The goal was to allow new artworks to be added without directly editing the source code, by setting up a database and a simple creation interface.
The website displayed artworks statically, which meant every update required technical intervention. The challenge was to design a suitable data structure, connect the website to a MySQL database, and build a form capable of saving new artworks along with their essential information.
I developed an initial PHP/MySQL administration layer to make the catalog dynamic.
More specifically, I:
The website moved from a static structure to a dynamic one, with a first simple and functional administration interface. This project allowed me to strengthen my skills in procedural PHP, database modeling, and data handling between the front end and back end.
