OpenClassrooms project context:
As part of my internship at Webonzaï as a junior developer, my first assignment was to update the Riding Cities web page, an association that promotes skateboarding in the region. Since the CTO was absent when I arrived, the task was handed over to me by email, along with detailed instructions and a mockup to reproduce.
The website needed to be updated without a full redesign, using only the existing HTML code. The challenge was to integrate new content while respecting the current structure, reusing existing HTML blocks and predefined CSS classes to maintain the site’s visual consistency.
I first analyzed the existing source code to identify reusable sections and available CSS classes. I then:
All of the work was completed exclusively in HTML, relying on the styles already in place.
The page was updated in line with the mockup and the client’s expectations. The new sections were integrated seamlessly into the existing design without any CSS modifications, which made it possible to stay within the project’s technical constraints and deliver a clear, functional page that matched the requirements.
