OpenClassrooms project context :
As a WordPress integrator at MyCustomiWP, I worked on upgrading the website of the animation studio Koukaki, whose latest film had been nominated for an Oscar. The goal was to enrich the homepage with a series of immersive animations and transitions, based on a UX mockup, a Figma prototype, and assets provided by the agency.
The existing website needed to evolve into a much more dynamic and engaging experience, without relying on a page builder and while following WordPress best practices. Several types of animations had to be implemented depending on their technical context: CSS for simple rotations, JavaScript/jQuery for dynamic interactions, and a Cover Flow carousel for the characters section. The homepage became far more cinematic and engaging, in line with the studio’s creative universe. This project allowed me to combine WordPress child theme integration, Sass structuring, CSS animations, and advanced JavaScript interactions while maintaining a strong focus on performance and maintainability.
