OpenClassrooms project context:
As a freelancer, I contacted the founder of Chic Dressing, an online store specializing in pre-owned luxury clothing, after identifying performance issues on her website. Following an initial audit covering SEO, accessibility, and performance, the client entrusted me with an optimization project aimed at improving the site’s speed, search visibility, and conversion rate.
The website suffered from slow loading times, weak SEO optimization, and accessibility issues, all of which directly affected the user experience and business performance. In addition, the site had to be optimized without disrupting the live version, by working from a provided local copy.
Using an archive of the website, I carried out a series of targeted optimizations based on my initial audit.
